Sing praises to God and to his name! Sing loud praises to him who rides the clouds. His name is the Lord — rejoice in his presence!
-Psalms 68:4 NLT-
I was listening to the worship leader Julie Meyer on Youtube. I don’t remember what exactly I watched but she was a guest in a program. She said that singing to Jesus is really desirable, so even if your voice is poor we want to sing a song to Jesus.
I used to think that my voice is not beautiful when I sing, so I had a concern whenever I worship. “Oh, is my voice okay for the Lord to listen to?”
But Julie Meyer gave me a courage by saying that poor voice didn’t matter, so I made up my mind to sing a song to Jesus. Those days, I was worshiping Jesus almost everyday in the evening.
Few days later, I had a chance to fast. The fast wasn’t more than one day. In the evening my husband and I started worship. When we sang “You are my portion” I was moved by the beauty of the song and wanted to sing that song to Jesus.
So in my mind, I asked Jesus to listen to my worship, and sang a song as if Jesus was listening. I loved the song so much, so I sang three times repeatedly. I tried to express how much I am thankful and love Jesus when I sang.
Worship time was over. I went to bed and fell asleep. In my dream I was alone and wandering around a small building. A guy approached to me, trying to be friendly, but I rejected him and he left. Then my husband, I thought, came to me and I wanted be with him. He sat outside somewhere like a garden, put me on his knee and started singing a song on my left ear. It looked like whispering on my ear.
The song was incredibly beautiful, and I was so satisfied and awed.
I woke up. I realized that the person who I supposed was my husband was Jesus. He sang a song to me because I sang a song to him wholeheartedly.
I tried to remember the song Jesus sang for me, but no avail. The reason I think is the beautiful frequency of the song is far beyond this earthly realm, so my physical body couldn’t comprehend or realize it.
I tried to have the same encounter by singing the same song, but it didn’t happen again. However, my dream means that Jesus loves our worship, no matter what the quality of voice, and He will reward us.
This is a dream Seya had in Early 2020.
A Prayer for Readers
Jesus, thank You for singing on my ear. It was the sweetest moment ever. I’d like other people to have more encounters like this. Please give viewers a heart to focus on You and sing over You. And please give the viewers hope that their worship is being heard and rewarded by You.
