Yesterday, Oct. 3rd 2021, we shared the Gospel to six people and five received Jesus.
First, on our way to a grocery store, we took a Uber taxi and Hacksun shared the Gospel. The driver received Jesus and followed the sinner’s prayer. He was willing to receive Holy Spirit, so he also prayed to receive the baptism of Holy Spirit. I prayed for him for the baptism of Holy Spirit and blessed him. Then, I gave him the deer card.
In the grocery store, after we finishing our shopping, we came out to a lounge and found a gentleman on a bench. It seemed he’s in his late fifties. He looked pretty stern. He was eating a cup of ice cream and watching his smartphone. The ice cream he was eating was yellowish, and two or three spoons remained.
Hacksun and I agreed to share the Gospel with him. Then Hacksun gave my deer card to him. The man received it with a bit of caution. He didn’t look easy.
But once Hacksun shared the Gospel from his phone, the man received Jesus and prayed the sinner’s prayer.
On the next bench, there was a family. I guess they are grandparents and a granddaughter. They were all eating ice cream. They were eating vanilla sundae with chocolate syrup topping. They were all using spoons to eat them.
It seemed the ice creams were gaining time for us. While Hacksun was sharing the Gospel with the gentleman, the three members of the family on the next bench continued eating ice cream sundae.
After Hacksun finished sharing the Gospel with the gentleman, we approached this family and started sharing the Gospel with them. The grandmother was welcoming the gospel, but the grandpa didn’t look that much welcoming. But when the grandmother received Jesus, the grandfather also prayed the sinner’s prayer. The granddaughter also readily prayed the prayer. So all three received Jesus. I prayed for them on the spot and we left.
On our way come back home, we also took a Uber taxi. This time, the driver didn’t receive Jesus. When we suggested the sinner’s prayer after Hacksun shared the Gospel, the driver pulled out his smartphone and looked for his family photos etc. to show that he was not interested.
It was such a delight to see five souls receiving Jesus, but the one lost sheep lingers in my heart until now.
Now I understand little bit of this verse!
Think of it this way: If a man owns a hundred sheep and one lamb wanders away and is lost, won’t he leave the ninety-nine grazing the hillside and thoroughly search for the one lost lamb? And if he finds his lost lamb, he rejoices over it, more than over the ninety-nine that never went astray. Now you should understand that it is never the desire of your heavenly Father that a single one of these little ones should be lost.
-Matthew 18:12-14 TPT
Today, Oct. 4th, on our way to and back from Office Depot, two drivers, Miguel and Eduardo, got saved. Both were so ready to receive Jesus!
Thank you Father for saving many souls. Multiply the number, Father. Holy Spirit, pour out your Spirit on us.
